Hi Sally,
You know I am here in Paris for my school trip and I am having a great time here. Yesterday was the best day of my life because I was in Disneyland Park with my school friends, Kevin and Flora. We arrived there at 10 am. We were really excited. There were a lot of things to do. Unfortunately, we could only ride Rock’n Roller Coaster and Space Mountain because the park was very crowded. We couldn’t see Haunted House. Then, Flora and I had some time to buy some souvenirs for my parents and, of course, for you. There was a big parade at 5 pm. It was a great show. All Disney characters were in colourful costumes. We were all happy to see our favourite animated characters. Finally, we were all tired when Disneyland closed doors at 7 pm. It was like a dream and everything was wonderful.

Biliyorsun okul gezim için Paris’te buradayım ve harika zaman geçiriyorum burada. Dün hayatımın en güzel günüydü çünkü en iyi okul arkadaşlarım, Kevin ve Flora ile Disneyland Parkındaydım. Sabah 10’da oraya vardık. Gerçekten heyecanlıydık. Yapacak çok şey vardı. Maalesef, sadece hızlı tren ve uzay dağına binebildik çünkü park çok kalabalıktı. Perili evi göremedik. Sonra, Flora ve ben annemler ve tabiki senin için hatıra birşeyler almak için zamanımız vardı. Saat akşam 5’de büyük bir gösteri vardı. Harika bir şovdu. Bütün Disney karakterleri renkli kostümler içindeydi. Hepimiz çok mutluyduk favori anime karakterlerini gördüğümüz için. Son olarak, Disneyland saat 7’de kapıları kapandığında hepimiz yorgunduk. Rüya gibiydi ve herşey mükemmeldi.

C) Aziz Sancar was born in Savur, Mardin on September 8, 1946. He was the seventh of eight children of an ordinary family. He grew up in Savur and stayed there until 1963. His father, Abdülgani Sancar, was a farmer. He was illiterate but he was eager to educate his children
E) Aziz Sancar started his educational life in a school in his hometown. He was a brilliant student at school. He was ambitious to complete his education. He studied hard and he graduated from Mardin High School in 1963. Then, he moved to İstanbul alone to make a university degree at the area of medicine. In 1969, he finished İstanbul University and turned back to his hometown to work at a hospital.
A) Aziz Sancar had great passion to study in the area of Molecular Biology. He wanted to make research on DNA repair. In 1971, he won the scholarship of TÜBİTAK and went to the USA. He studied at the University of Texas and Yale University. In 1997, he went to the University of North Carolina and he met Gwen Boles. They got married. They had a daughter.
D) Sancar had an extraordinary life. It is full of successes and awards. 2015 was an unforgettable year for him because he took the Nobel Prize in Chemistry along with his two colleagues, Tomas Lindahl and Paul L. Modrich. Sancar

He came back to Turkey in 1970. He got married to Lale Manço in 1978. They raised two children. He produced a programme called ‘From 7 to 77 with Barış Manço’. It was a family and children oriented programme. He won awards ‘International Culture and Peace Award’ from Japan in 1991 and ‘Highest Honour of Art’ from Japan again in 1995. He died on January 31, 1999.
